May Champion is Max's older sister. At 14, she is wise beyond her years. Like her brother - May is a top martial artist - a black belt in karate. Her favorite weapon is the bo staff.

While her brother is always dreaming, May is always practical, and looking out for everyone. She also misses her parents, and realizes they may never see them again. May is always ready to do her best in any given situation.
